Below is an overview of our planned sailing itinerary although at times, weather and other conditions may affect or alter our route. Don't worry your skipper will keep you aware of any changes along the way.

Welcome to your MedSailors Greece Corfu Discovery! We'll kick off the trip from Corfu. Before meeting your crew at the marina you will have time to take in the rugged mountains and scenic coastline. Explore Corfu town with its two Venetian fortresses, featuring winding medieval lanes, a French-style arcade, and the Grand Palace before checking in for your adventure. In the afternoon, we set sail to San Stefanos for an afternoon of swimming and paddleboarding. We'll explore the village at night and you'll get to know your flotilla crew over a group meal in a Greek taverna.

Today you'll have time to practice your sailing as we head for Plataria. Enjoy the crystal blue waters as you spend the morning exploring the surrounding bays. Afterwards, we'll sail to the traditional town of Plataria before heading to the taverna-lined harbour for a delicious Greek feast.

Today set sail for the stunning island of Paxos, arriving at the lively Lakka Bay, where crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming or paddleboarding. Surrounded by olive trees and pine forests, this picturesque spot offers both relaxation and adventure. The village is full of charm, with narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and vibrant tavernas. Relax on the beach, explore the bay, and soak up the natural beauty of this idyllic spot.

Gaios is the largest and liveliest of the villages on Paxos with an excellent selection of shops. Take in the lush green countryside of this island as you head to a secluded beach for an afternoon of sunbathing and swimming. Wander the town in the evening and enjoy the freshest seafood at a local taverna.

Next up, we make our way to Parga one of the most beautiful villages in the Ionian! With a Venetian castle forming an impressive backdrop, explore the charming town and its boutique shops. With plenty of beach bars, you'll have the evening to experience the very best of Greek hospitality.

Embark on an incredible day as we journey to the mesmerizing Blue Caves for an invigorating swim or paddleboarding adventure. Later, we'll make our way to Monganissi, where an authentic Greek restaurant awaits, offering a delightful array of Mediterranean flavours to savour. As the sun sets, embrace the lively Greek culture with enchanting traditional music and dancing beneath the sparkling starlit sky. Opa!

Today is the final day! Sailing back to Gouvia Marina, we'll arrive around mid-afternoon after some swim stops. You'll have plenty of time for souvenir shopping or exploring more of what Corfu has to offer. Back on land, be sure to farewell your MedSailors family and toast to an awesome, unforgettable week sailing in Greece.

Getting There

Corfu International Airport hosts regular direct flights from the UK, as well as domestic connections via Athens and other European capitals. Gouvia marina is just 9km from the airport and can easily be reached with a short taxi ride.

What an amazing unforgettable 7 days of sailing to some of the most beautiful spots in Greece. Waking up daily for a swim in the Sea and then breakfast before heading to the next stop/adventure was what I didn't know I needed. Nils was out Skipper and he was so professional but personable. He taught me about the anchor, sails, wind and mooring and even let me do a few. When we finally left we were all sad like we were leaving summer camp. Katiya our Cruise Experience Director was the smiling face that sent you a message daily with the itinerary and recommendations for the day(Activities, Dinner, Nightlife). This really relieved you of all the decision making and you could just go with the flow and relax and enjoy. This was super important because you were in a different location everyday. It was nice to have restaurants and bars have reserved spaces for us so there was no wait and you kinda felt like a VIP. She did all of this but her real super power was her smile and laugh. She was like a cute little mama bear that kept us all in the know. I can't leave out Skipper Emma!!! One of my friends dropped her phone under our catamaran while docked trying to take a pic. I saw Emma first and told her and she immediately dove in and retrieved the phone in the water proof case and was like "Got it" all with a smile. This group and experience was truly unforgettable. Can't wait to rebook a different route. I already miss the Musaka!!

Had the absolute best week of my life with MedSailors! I chose the Ionian route because of the beautiful pictures I saw online. Greece had been at the top of my bucket list my whole life, so the bar was set pretty high on what I was expecting! Not only were my expectations met, but they were exceeded! Medsailors takes the time to pair you with alike people on your boat, so I was extremely lucky to be put on an all girls boat where the other girls and I got very close very fast! 2 weeks later and we’re still all talking and plan on taking future trips together with MedSailors, so if you’re solo traveling, no need to worry about meeting people!
Our skipper Philly was amazing. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about the route, amazing at sailing, and an incredible chef, but she was also extremely friendly and welcoming and was a huge contributor on why my experience was as good as it was! Instead of feeling like I was on a structured tour of the islands, I just felt like I was sailing with my closes friends the whole week, even though we had all just met! Philly is one of the main reasons I will be recommending MedSailors to everyone I know!
Our GEL Sara was also amazing! She always took it upon herself to make sure we knew what was in store for us that day, and she was always there to answer any questions we had! She even came to chat and have breakfast on our boat one morning! Sara is another main reason I will be recommending MedSailors to everyone I know!

Our week with Med Sailors was nothing short of AMAZING! The whole week is planned out so well by the company (time for swimming/snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, personal island and national park explore time, socialisation time with other med sailor boats in the convoy, and down time on the boat when sailing between locations). The trip is executed and resourced so incredibly well and the staff were all so fun and easy going (all the skippers and the head wellbeing/social coordinator of our trip, Marion, made the trip the best experience). My 2 friends and I were on the monohull sail boat and were really happy with the 5 other girls that the company had coordinated/selected to be on this boat with us, I have made some friends for life. A special call out to our skipper, Maggie, who went above and beyond to cook a delicious breakfast and lunch for us each day, got us safely from A to B each day, taught us LOTS about sailing and allowed us to get as involved as we each would like to be in learning how to sail, and just hung out and became an awesome friend with the girls and I!!
